*Flashcards- I create sight word flashcards.
*Calendars- I create monthly calendars to send home that have important dates and events.
*Student Skill Builder- My students use the Clifford game to match letters.

This is one of my favorite sites. It was created by a mom of two. She has free worksheets for early elementary academics, extracurricular activities and holiday art.
*Cornucopia tracing worksheet-the students trace the letter C and color the cornucopia.
*Edible Turkey- The students follow a recipe to make a Turkey out of fun treats.
*Five little Turkeys- This is one of our poems for the month of November. We read it in circle daily. I print it and send it home before Thanksgiving break so the students can share it with their family.

This site has a variety of templates for discipline, academic, planning, and communication needs.
*Behavior Log-I use it to keep track of problem behavior to look for patterns and find effective replacement behaviors.
*Paraprofessional Data- I use this sheet to help me structure data logs so my aides can also help me take data on student goals
*Parent Form-I send this home in the beginning of the school year for parents to fill out so I have a better sense of who the students are.

YouTube/ TeacherTube
I explored teacher tube and found wonderful resources such as songs and lesson plan idea for my classroom. One of my favorite finds was the thanksgiving song in sign language. Here is the link:

Many of my students are nonverbal and I am always looking to learn sign language for communication purposes and also to modify learning activities to make them accessible to all learners. Teacher tube targets a specific audience with professional needs so it is a wonderful place to find new teaching tools and ideas as well as to share.

Wikis
Wikis are a great way to create something as a group. A wiki could be used in classrooms to build discussion on certain topics. It could also serve to share useful tips such as test taking strategies for specific types of tests (for example the SATs). I explored classroom wikis and got the impression that students take more ownership of their learning because they are contributing to the eduction of others. Many students already practice some form of sharing of information on the web. So, using wikis as part of class time learning sounds and looks like a great tool to engage students and facilitate learning.
Image Generators
I explored comicstripgenerator.com. I thought of using cartoon images and pairing them with my class rules to motivate my students to follow them. I also created some images with specific messages as rewards for individual student behavior programs.
RSS feeds
RSS feeds are a great way to keep up with my areas of interest. In this case I chose to link RSS feeds about special education since I am a sped teacher and need to keep up with the changes and research to better meet the needs of the students. Plus, if parents visit my blog, they can also easily access new and current information.

Fun n Games
I created a wordle for my November vocabulary words and it was fun and an easy way to spice up my monthly homework packet. Every month I choose thematic vocabulary words that my students will most likely see in their environment. I would use a wordle to create a vocabulary words poster that would capture the attention of my students and motivate them to practice the words at home.
